For those who are new to the S.V. Jewellers Experience, I first want to welcome you to the family! And to give you a little background information on who we are, what we do, and why you should get to know our store! :)

      Sonny Giang has been working in the Jewellery trade for over 35 years, training in China, Vietnam, and Canada. He has crafted his very own technique and style when it comes to Jewellery repairs and creating custom pieces, becoming well known for his unique stone settings due to their strength and esthetic is just the beginning of Sonny’s extensive list of accomplishments. Along with jewellery Sonny has also become the front runner in Clock repairs for the Ottawa and surrounding areas. His expertise is in antique and grandfather clocks but not limited to all other styles. Sonny’s career in jewellery began at the age of 14 when he started his first job as a Jeweler in a factory in Cambodia. From there he only grew and excelled in his trade eventually coming to Canada and working as a Jeweler for well known companies until opening his own store; he brings to you S.V. Jewellers - where technical expertise and artistic styling brings you classic pieces with a modern edge.

         Following in his father’s footsteps, Phillip has  partnered with Sonny to bring you a modern jewellery boutique where you can find everything from classic to innovative in a range of materials, affordable to high end! Phillip brings an enthusiasm to the store that makes you feel comfortable while shopping, as well as an extensive knowledge of jewels and materials passed on to him from his training with Sonny. Phillips fiance Shannon has taken on the role of Designs and Merchandising, helping to create the style and ambiance that is S.V. Working together with Phillip, they bring you fresh ideas which mold her classic vintage style with his modern and innovative side. Watch them sketch your very own custom piece to be created specifically to your taste and needs all while enjoying a cup of coffee.

         Mother and wife, Vinh, has been learning all forms of jewellery repairs from Sonny for over 20 years and is best known for her work with pearl necklaces and bracelets. She treats each piece with a strong attention to detail and with a patience only  achieved by a mother of 4 ;)

No piece leaves the boutique without an S.V. stamp of approval.
